At Porlock Vale Campsite, we believe in the power of nature to enhance mental and physical health and wellbeing. We created this campsite to offer a place to disconnect from your busy life and reconnect with yourself and the natural world. Well behaved dogs are welcome.
The farm and surrounding area are included in the National Trust Holnicote Estate's Landscape Recovery Scheme, where we’re working to evolve the wildlife corridors and habitat, create wildflower and herbal areas, wood pasture and wetlands.
Along with myriad wildlife, including red deer, birds of prey, beavers and water voles, this farm is home to a large Exmoor pony conservation herd, and there are opportunities to join workshops to Connect With Exmoor Ponies & Yourself (one of the English National Park Experiences).
If you’re looking to de-stress and rebalance, challenge your fitness in the dramatic Exmoor terrain, meander through forests, river valleys and delightful villages, relax by the firepit and gaze at the stars - this is the place to pitch, in peace and quiet with stunning views.
Porlock Vale Campsite has achieved Greener Camping Club certification (the annual membership for campers is only £12 and a tree is planted for each member) and we feel working with Greener Camping for the good of nature is a great partnership.
